Smartphone vendor, XOLO is all set to launch its Play 8X-1020 smartphone for the Indian customers. The device is rumoured to be priced at Rs 9,700.
Retailer Mahesh Telecom from Mumbai tweeted some specifications of the Xolo Play 8X-1020, calling it a ‘new launch’ with specifications of the device.

The device is expected to feature a 5 inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The phone will have an 8MP rear camera with dual LED flash and Sony Exmor R sensor and a 5MP front camera.
The internal storage of the device is 8GB and is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
It is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery but there is no word on the Android version and dual-SIM support.
The XOLO Play series include XOLO Play 8X-1100 and Play 8X-1200. The company also launched the XOLO Q700 club this week at a price of Rs 6,999.
The device sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA IPS display ad is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core processor and Mali-400 MP2 GPU paired 1GB RAM.
The smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and has 8GB of internal memory (which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card). Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, as well as Bluetooth.
The Q700 Club sports dual front speakers, and comes pre-loaded with Hungama Music app, offering 3 months of unlimited music and video downloads. The dual-SIM device is expected to go on sale soon.
