Xiaomi rival Meizu to debut in India with 5.5-inch M1 Note Phablet

Last year, India saw the onset of many Chinese handset players entering Indian market. This year will also see the foray of new Chinese players like Meizu. Following the footstep of Xiaomi, Meizu recently introduced its Facebook India page that ensures Meizu’s India debut with Meizu M1 Note. Meizu will compete with brands like Xiaomi and Yureka and is one of the most influential young smartphone brands in China.
The device will sport a  1.7 GHz MT6752 64 bit octa-core processor, 5.5-inch Gorilla Glass 3 full HD display, 2 GB RAM and 16GB/ 32 GB non-expandable internal storage. Other key specifications, include, a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfies shooter for photography enthusiasts.

Other features include 4G LTE, dual SIM support, and a juicy 3140 mAh battery. Like other Chinese brands, you will get a heavily skinned custom UI layer (Flyme 4.0) based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. Meizu has already its presence in China with MX4 Pro with its 5.5-inch screen, 1536 x 2560 resolution, octa-core Exynos 5430 CPU, 20.7MP rear camera and 3350mAh battery.
The slightly smaller-screened Meizu MX4, powered with an octa-core CPU from MediaTek, was the highest scoring handset on AnTuTu’s benchmark site last year.  This device has captured the attention of smartphones’ lover and the industry influencer.
