Google says ‘Navroz Mubarak’ with a colourful doodle

Navroz Mubarak special doodle
Celebrating the first day of spring or Equinox, Google replaces its homepage logo with a new colourful doodle. It also marks the Iranian New Year known as Navroz, a holy day for Zoroastrians and celebrated in many parts of the world.
Simply hover your mouse over the doodle, and the page reads, “Navroz Mubarak”. The new doodle is made of colourful flowers, bees and caterpillar, reminding everyone of the onset of spring. It is a simple doodle sans any animations.
In India, the festival is celebrated by Parsis, Kashmiris and Shia Muslims.
Recently, Google India homepage had celebrated the colourful festival of Holi. Just like the Navroz doodle, it was a colourful picture celebrating the festival that signifies triumph of good over evil with a bonfire, followed by a carnival of colours. It was the fifth time that Google India had celebrated Holi with a doodle. Prior to this, we have seen Holi doodles in 2001, 2010, 2011 and 2014. Last year’s Holi doodle showed a pichkari or water gun splashing colours on the Google logo.
