Nokia’s smartwatch is currently just seems as a concept with a unique multi-segment design. Technology blog Engadgethas come up with a video showing Nokia Facet. Unlike any traditional smartwatch, Nokia Facet has six watch faces which are mounted on a wrist band. With multiple displays, the smartwatch can expand applications to more than one of its display and also collapse back to each display. The smartwatch has touch support and allows to use gestures for operations.
Considering the patent application filed by Nokia on August 20 last year, the smartwatch has an application processor and a built-in storage. The patent application also confirmed that there are multiple segments and each segment is mounted on a frame which makes it as a wearable device. The application does not revealed any detail about the hardware components of the smartwatch and also the detail about its operating system is not yet unearthed.

As Nokia is now a part of Microsoft after being acquired in September, the smartwatch would work as a companion device for Windows Phone based smartphones. On the other side, Microsoft is also in buzzes with its smartwatch so Nokia would leave its smartwatch plan just as a concept.
