Flipkart has dropped the price of the Motorola Moto G by Rs 2000, bringing the cost of the 8GB capacity to Rs 10499. The reduction in its retail value is supposed to last only until the current stock of units is exhausted, so those wishing to take advantage of this opportunity should hurry up.
Rs 2000 has been subtracted not just from the price of the 8GB version, but from that of the 16GB variant of the Moto G too. This means that the latter is being sold for a very tempting rate of Rs 11999 right now. As opposed to this, the smartphones were earlier being offered for Rs 12499 and Rs 13999.
Along with the Moto G, Flipkart also has exclusivity on the Moto X and the Moto E as far as India is concerned. It was this e-commerce site that started the trend in the country, following which a lot of other retailers began to bid for sole selling rights of various handsets. Flipkart is winning the game, having grabbed exclusivity over phones from Motorola, Xiaomi, Asus and other brands.
